Hi there!

My name is Suzan and I’m a certified Mindfulness MBSR teacher, trainer and coach combining the power of nature with mindfulness. My drive is to inquire, inspire and empower people to define their path for personal growth.

After completing my degree in Human Resources Management in the Netherlands, I worked for several multinational companies, in different areas, such as learning, development and recruitment. Life went on, but something was missing. The growing number of people around me, including myself, not being 'satisfied' whilst being exposed to the pressure, made me searching for other alternatives.

In 2009 I was introduced to the concept of Mindfulness. I attended the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) training, which gave me a valuable insight into my own patterns and ‘autopilot’.

As an ambitious mother I was struggling to keep all balls in the air. My mind prevented me from finding the right work-life balance, I found myself striving and judging all the time.

Moving to Asia in 2013 was a great moment to recognise my habits. The opportunity to choose to do things differently made me learn a lot more about myself., which was not always easy. I started to realise how my internal pressure to perform was directly related to issues I had suffered from for many years. I switched careers and started to train and coach people in profit and non-profit organisations, to help them become more aware of their thoughts, emotions and body sensations.

Traveling being second nature to me, I then moved to Valencia in 2016 where I founded my own company MINDtreat in which I offer a variety of soft skill training, coaching and mindfulness programs. As a certified coach and mindfulness teacher I’m dedicated to create a safe, supportive environment that allows awareness to emerge.

Looking forward to meeting you online or in person in this beautiful area of Spain.
