Mindfulness

'Mindfulness is awareness that arises through paying attention, on purpose, in the present moment, non-judgementally' -Jon Kabat Zinn-

In today's fast-paced and demanding world in where we are always on and connected, we are easily distracted and it is difficult to stay focused. For many of us, our ability to pay real attention is going down.

Being mindful in daily life means being aware of your experience in the present moment and observing your thoughts, emotions and body sensations. Mindfulness is about understanding your mind.

In this article I'm describing my own journey of Mindfulness.

I'm organising MasterClasses 'Mindfulness at the workplace', weekly online meditation sessions, workshops and retreats for everyone who seeks to improve quality of life, especially if you would like to understand better how to deal with stress, concentration problems and difficult emotions. You will become more aware of the mind’s tendency to wander off and it's worrying about the past and the future.

It is also possible to provide a workshop, a training or a retreat (English or Dutch spoken) for a private group. This will be customised to the needs of the (individual) wishes of the group after an intake session.

If you would like to receive more information, please send me a message and I will contact you.

"Mindfulness is not about getting rid of your thoughts — it is about noticing what thoughts are there".
