Mindfulness
'Mindfulness is awareness that arises through paying attention, on purpose, in the present moment, non-judgementally' -Jon Kabat Zinn-
We are riding the wave of the 24-hour economy. Always connected, easily distracted and difficult to stay focused.
For many of us, our ability to pay real attention is going down.
Being mindful in daily life means, observing your thoughts, emotions and body sensations. Experiencing how you are at this present moment. Mindfulness is about understanding your mind.
In this article I'm describing my own journey of Mindfulness.
Mindfulness has been a buzzword over the last couple of years, but what does it really mean? And more importantly, how could mindfulness impact your life?
I'm organising MasterClasses 'Mindfulness at the workplace', weekly online meditation sessions, workshops and retreats for everyone who seeks to improve quality of life, especially if you would like to understand better how to deal with stress, concentration problems and difficult emotions. You will become more aware of the mind’s tendency to wander off and it's worrying about the past and the future.
It is also possible to provide a workshop, a training or a retreat (English or Dutch spoken) for a private group. This will be customised to the needs of the (individual) wishes of the group after an intake session.
If you would like to receive more information, please send me a message and I will contact you.
