What a great 5 days with a nice group of people, in a beautiful place full of nature, 2 donkeys and a swimming pool. Suzan and Sara let us experience what mindfulness can do for you. Both of them are great teachers who know what they are doing, they complement each other well. I already have experience with mindfulness, but after this 5-day retreat I'm more aware of my pitfalls. Letting go - without judgment. is my biggest learning And be gentle with myself. Back at home I 'm still enjoying and tI'm meditating again. Thank you for the beautiful experience,
Without any experience with Mindfulness and actually not really prepared, I went for a trip to Spain. I had my thoughts about yoga classes around the pool. Meditating in all different forms was completely new to me and after the first morning it really hits me. I experienced that my body and thoughts were never still. Instead I noticed that it's always moving, even when I'm tired and I should take some rest. You only discover this when you take time for it. An experience that is different for everybody. After that first morning, I was so tired. I couldn’t even join the walk in the afternoon, because my body felt exhausted. I thought ‘what have I done?’ After a good dinner I felt much better. And although I had a restless night, I woke up full of energy and I was ready for day 2, 3, 4 & 5! Every day the mindfulness session started with a meditation, followed by a theme about Mindfulness. After the explanation and discussion, there was enough time to practice. In the afternoon there was an optional program such as a silent walk, mindful drawing and mind mapping. The peace I felt during these days was very special. I would definitely recommend this ME time! It is a gift for everyone! The personal guidance of Suzan and Sara was very professional and nice. The tranquillity they radiate was very pleasant and made you feel at ease. The location, B&B Refugio Marnes in Benissa is a great place to be; the peace, nature, the hosts Willem and Richard ensure that you do not have to think about anything, just enjoy. And I have enjoyed it! Thank you Suzan and Sara for letting me experience this mindfulness journey with you and the group. Hopefully see you next time.
